What an amazing start to 2013 we have had with this beautiful summer weather. We have learnt lots about keeping safe in the sun, at the beach, and around water. The children, parents, and teachers enjoyed a swim at the Leigh School pool, where we were very lucky to have one of our Mum's Jade join us who is a swimming instructor. Jade made the swimming experience lots of fun encouraging us to blow bubbles under water and to kick our legs. As a community we have had to be very conservative as our water tanks suffered but this has also made for more learning conversations with the children around this precious resource.
Our AGM was held on 27th March. This was a very successful evening with lots of parents and community members attending. We look forward to the year ahead with such supportive and passionate committee members. Our next committee meeting is 17th April at the new time of 7pm.
Term 1 ends Friday the 19th April.
Term 2 begins Monday 6th May.
